What are the Designated Funds?

Designated Funds are individual charity funds that relate to specific areas of the Trust. Each fund has a minimum of three Fund Managers and a Charity Champion who can support you with your application. You can view a list of our funds on our Designated Funds page.

If there is a relevant Designated fund that aligns to your idea, you should contact the Charity Champion providing a brief description of your proposal. You can find more information about our Designated Funds and how to apply in Step two.

In memory of David Gandy

Sadly in January this year my dad, David Gandy, passed away following a short illness. Dad spent his final three weeks in the Royal Surrey Intensive Care Unit. This was a distressing period for all Dad's family and friends but the level of care and compassion left us in know doubt that he was in the best place possible. To show our appreciation for the ICU staff Nick, Chris, Cam and I will be competing in Ironman events in Tallinn this August and raising funds to improve their vital facilities.
Abdominal Compression Belts Enhance Radiotherapy Treatment

Thanks to your support and the generous donation from the KatCanDo charity, Royal Surrey Charity has funded Abdominal Compression Belts for our radiotherapy unit, significantly benefiting patients receiving radiotherapy.

When do I have to complete a Charity Business Case?

Where an idea requires more than £5,000 of funding, a Charity Business Case must be completed and approved by the Trust before it can be considered by the charity.
