Following advice from the Government and to ensure the safety and wellbeing of our staff, patients and supporters, our office is now closed and our fundraising team is working remotely.

We want to reassure all our supporters that we are still here and can be contacted by email at [email protected] or via our contact form. You can also reach out on social media. Post will be checked and processed at least once a week.

Donated items

Due to the closure of the office, an increase in infection control measures in the hospital, and the fact that our tabletop sales have been temporarily suspended; we unfortunately cannot accept any donated items - including books and knitted goods. This has been a difficult decision and we want to thank our committed team of knitters who provide much-needed items for the wards and help raise vital funds via our sales. We will let you know as soon as we are accepting knitted and donated items again.

Easter eggs

Thank you to everyone who has donated Easter eggs. If you have already delivered these to us or have used one of Co-op’s drop off points, thank you for supporting young patients spending Easter in hospital. Please note that, because of the reasons outlined above, we are no longer accepting donations of Easter goods.

Fundraising events

A number of national and local events have already been cancelled or postponed, including the London and Brighton Marathons. If you have organised an upcoming fundraising event in aid of the charity, we advise you check official guidance on the Government website.

Supporting the charity

We still very much need your support – now more than ever. If you can, please do continue to donate – every penny and pound you give really does make a difference to the patients and staff at Royal Surrey.

Many of you have asked how you can support our amazing staff though this challenging period. We have therefore set up a dedicated fund to ensure staff get the help they need during this crisis and beyond. You can make a donation online or by sending a cheque.

We are incredibly proud to be supporting our wonderful NHS and the dedicated Royal Surrey staff who are going above and beyond during this challenging time. As always, we are grateful to you - our amazing supporters - who make that possible. Thank you for your understanding and continued support at this time. We hope you and your loved ones are all staying safe and keeping well.

How you can help

Please donate now to our COVID-19 emergency appeal so we can look after these vital staff when they need us – providing the resources and support they need to continue to provide excellent care now, and in the future.
