Donating new and second-hand good quality items can help raise money

Did you know that we raise over £20,000 each year by selling donated items at our table top sales and in the community? 

If you're having a clear out, and would like to help us raise valuable funds, please consider donating good quality and clean second-hand and new items that we can use as prizes or to sell at our charity sales.

Accepted donations include:

• Clean, good quality clothing
• Handbags, shoes and accessories
• Books
• Jigsaw puzzles 
• Children’s toys, games and books
• New unwanted gifts
• Knitted items
• Bric-a-brac
• Costume jewellery
• CDs and DVDs

We are not able to accept electrical items or furniture.

Please get in touch to organise delivering the items to us. Alternatively, bring your items to the fundraising office on level A of the hospital (in the estates corridor) or leave donated items with the main reception and ask them to call the charity.

£5 could buy a gift for a patient who's spending Christmas in hospital.

£15 could buy toys, games and books to entertain and distract children in waiting rooms.

£30 could buy a TENS machine to provide pain relief for patients on our wards.

£50 could send one of our nurses on a course specific to the area of expertise.
