Donating good quality items can help raise money

Did you know donated items help us raise valuable funds each year? 

If you're having a clear out, please consider donating good quality and clean second-hand and new items that we can use as prizes or to sell at our charity sales.

Suggested donations include:

• Jigsaws
• Children’s toys and books
• Unwanted gifts
• Bric-a-brac
• Costume jewellery

We regret that due to hygiene and limited storage space, we are not able to accept clothing (including shoes), kitchenware, electrical items, CDs or DVDs. 

Please get in touch to organise delivering the items to us. Alternatively, bring your items to the fundraising office on level A of the hospital (in the estates corridor) or leave donated items with the main reception and ask them to call the charity.

£5 could buy a gift for a patient who's spending Christmas in hospital.

£15 could buy toys, games and books to entertain and distract children in waiting rooms.

£30 could buy a TENS machine to provide pain relief for patients on our wards.

£50 could send one of our nurses on a course specific to the area of expertise.
