Royal Surrey Charity has recently funded new RITA (Reminiscence Interactive Therapy Activity) systems to bring comfort and engagement to patients across our wards.

RITA is a digital resource offering games, music, pictures, and films that help lift patients’ spirits and ease boredom during their hospital stay. It has been especially helpful for patients with dementia, learning disabilities, and neurological conditions.

Lydia Russell, Dementia and Delirium Lead Nurse, says:

“RITA has been warmly welcomed by our teams. It helps calm restless patients and gives staff extra ways to support those in need.”

Your generosity means we can provide staff with more tools to personalise care and make hospital stays a little brighter and less stressful: thank you!
