This Easter, we’ve been overwhelmed by the generosity of local businesses who have donated hundreds of Easter eggs. Thank you for your generous support:

Throughout the last two weeks, we received over 1,200 eggs worth £3,670. We also received toys for our young patients, as well as biscuits, tea and coffee for the ward staff. These donations have been delivered to Hascombe ward (our children's ward), children’s outpatients, cancer wards, and adults and older people who were spending Easter with us. 

Christina from Co-op Funeral Care, Guildford, said:

“My daughter Ellie was cared for by the nurses at Hascombe Ward in 2018 and she received an advent calendar which made her stay a little bit nicer. So every Easter we like to give back and bring a little happiness to the children in the hospital.”

Alex from Masonic Lodge collected funds in a charity box and purchased eggs. He said he just “wanted to put a smile on patients' faces!”

Moments like these are truly heartwarming. Huge thank you to everyone who has donated Easter eggs to us. Any spare eggs will be sold at our charity sales to help raise vital funds for patients and staff at Royal Surrey and our hospitals in the community.
