Our Intensive Care Fund supports people who are very ill, or who are recovering from surgery and in need of more specialised care.

Most patients in Royal Surrey’s Intensive Care Unit (ICU) have problems with one or more of their vital organs, and may not be able to breathe on their own.

Being admitted to Intensive Care can often be disorientating and a worrying experience for patients and their loved ones. By donating to our Intensive Care Fund, you are helping to ensure critically ill patients receive world class care in a comfortable and welcoming setting.

Your donation could help:

  • Fund state-of-the-art equipment and technology
  • Enhance the experience of our patients by funding comfortable and welcoming spaces
  • Support staff wellbeing so our amazing NHS staff can provide extraordinary care
  • Invest in research, training and education
Our NHS is incredible. We never know when we might need to go to hospital, or when a loved one may need treatment. I am so grateful for the care I received: I wouldn’t be here without the ICU team at Royal Surrey County Hospital.

There’s more we can do, but we need your help.
