It’s been very hard sitting here thinking of how to best describe such a massive person in your life. Words are never enough to describe the depth of love and the enormous hole they have left behind. Valerie Jean Phipp has always been the most loving and supportive mum Iain and I could have ever hoped for, a loving husband to Stephen for over 59 years, a devoted grandmother to Benjamin and a constant conversationalist to her sister Barbara. This short list is minuscule in size to the long list of close loving family members and life long friends, as well as the friends of her two sons who nearly all viewed her as a surrogate mother. Her loving smiles and hugs will be remembered forevermore
