Our mummy, the woman who put every single person before herself. Mums strength never went unnoticed, she fought tonsil cancer and never let the tough days define her. Being a nurse, she was always caring for others and that she did, even through her own journey. Volunteering for Royal Surrey was her get up and go, knowing she could give back to Mr Derbyshire’s team who saved her and raising money to help others. We, her daughters, can not express enough how thankful we are to Mr Derbyshire, Selina (Nurse) and the rest of the Head & Neck team for supporting mum and us through this journey. We will continue to raise money, as a family, for the Head & Neck team in the hope this can help other people. She really is an incredible mum, daughter, sister, auntie, niece and recently Nanny. To know her, was to love her.
