In Memory

Natasha Hannah Marisa - Fund for TYAC

22 Jul 1992 - 07 Sep 2021

Natasha (Tasha, Tash, Tashykins, Angel) was a beautiful wife, daughter, sister. She lived life to the full and achieved more in her 29 years than most people do in twice that time. She will be remembered for her huge smile and kind heart. She was genuinely loved by all who knew her. Tasha passed away peacefully surrounded by her close family. As a family we will never forget the care and support the TYAC unit provided for our beautiful angel and it is Tasha's express wishes that any monies donated will be used by the unit to provide fun days out and experiences for other families who are currently being affected by a cancer diagnosis. Tasha, we will miss you every minute of every day but we are thankful for the amazing 29 years we all had together, we will never forget you.

*Natasha Marisa - Invitational Cricket Competition to be held on Monday 29th August

Tasha's passion was cricket and she played for Cove Cricket Club both for the men's and ladies' sections. She captained all Hampshire girls age group sides and finished her playing career as captain of the Hampshire senior ladies team. Tasha also coached several of the Hampshire girls age group sides and loved every second she got to play and pass on her knowledge of the sport she adored.
In her honour a 'Natasha Marisa' invitational cricket competition is to be held at Cove Cricket Club on Monday 29th August 2022. Three teams will compete for the trophy with play starting at 10am and stumps being 5pm. One team will be made up of the best of Hampshire league players and will be known as 'Best of Hampshire Cricket League' XI. One team will be made up of junior girls who Tasha coached and will be known as the 'Juniors' XI. The final team will be the 'Tasha' XI selected by the family from friends and players Tasha played with during her playing career.
As well as the cricket, the bar will be open, the BBQ will be cooking, cakes will be on sale, raffle prizes will need to be won, the cocktail bar will be back on site, tea, coffee and ice creams will be available to be purchased. All proceeds from the special day will go to Tasha's nominated charity - Royal Surrey Charity - 'TYAC' - who looked after and cared for her for so many years and who continue to treat and work tirelessly helping other teenagers and young adults with their cancer diagnosis.
As a family, we know Tasha would be thrilled and amazed to think a cricket match was being played in her honour, and she would be delighted to see so many old friends, family and players come together to make it a day to remember while still continuing to raise monies for her beloved 'TYAC'.
