Natasha Hannah Marisa - Fund for TYAC

22 Jul 1992 - 07 Sep 2021

Natasha (Tasha, Tash, Tashykins, Angel) was a beautiful wife, daughter, sister. She lived life to the full and achieved more in her 29 years than most people do in twice that time. She will be remembered for her huge smile and kind heart. She was genuinely loved by all who knew her. Tasha passed away peacefully surrounded by her close family. As a family we will never forget the care and support the TYAC unit provided for our beautiful angel and it is Tasha's express wishes that any monies donated will be used by the unit to provide fun days out and experiences for other families who are currently being affected by a cancer diagnosis. Tasha, we will miss you every minute of every day but we are thankful for the amazing 29 years we all had together, we will never forget you.

The second Natasha Marisa Invitational Cricket Competition to be held on Monday 28th August 2023

This year's competition will once again take place at Cove Cricket Club with play starting at 10am and stumps being at 5pm. Tasha's XI will be returning to defend the trophy they won in 2022 but competition will be fierce from a Hampshire Cricket League Team and a Hampshire Representative squad. Last year's competition raised £9105 on the day for Tasha's beloved TYAC and it will be wonderful to raise further funds in Tasha's memory. The day will comprise of the cricket, a BBQ, cake, savoury, sweets and ice cream sale, the bar, prebooked afternoon tea, the raffle, a silent auction and Charlee Prentice-Raine (Tasha's Brother-in-law) will close the day by singing some of Tasha's favourite songs.

Tasha loved cricket, she loved cake, she loved cheesy music and she loved spending time with family and friends - this is Tasha's favourite sort of day and it is in her honour.

Laura and Katie's Shine Night Walk

We, (Laura and Katie) are participating in the Shine Night Walk in memory of our best friend Tash. During her 5 years of treatment, Tash was always extremely well cared for by the TYAC unit at the Royal Surrey County Hospital. They not only provide the best treatment plans for patients, they go above and beyond to transform the care, teenagers and young adults across Surrey, receive when facing a cancer diagnosis, as well as extending much needed support to family and friends. Tash was the most selfless person, always thinking of you, and helping others. Our aim is to honour her legacy and raise funds that will go on to provide exceptional care and allow them to fund experiences for families to create lasting memories.

The most active of the 3 of us, Tasha will no doubt be cheering us on from up there, whilst laughing at how unprepared we are to tackle this 26 mile night walk. We are truly grateful for any donations, no matter how big or small - they really will make a difference to someone's life.
