A wife, a mother, a grandma, a great grandma and a friend, Liz was a very special person. She radiated warmth and kindness. Her concern for others, her sense of fun, the importance of family were her strengths. Liz’s health declined in the latter stage of her life. Her transition from carer to being cared for was not easy. During the last year Liz spent nearly 4 months in hospital following emergency admissions. Much of this time was under strict COVID conditions which meant she could not be visited by her husband of 68 years or her family. She celebrated her 88th birthday, 68th wedding anniversary & Christmas, all in hospital. The staff have been amazing, working under very difficult conditions. As a thank you to the amazing care received at the RSCH, Haselmere and Milford Hospitals, we the family, have set up this donation page to give back to the well-being of the staff. In memory of Liz, and instead of a floral tribute, her family feel that she would have liked to support this worthy charity. Thank you
