Royal Surrey Charity needs volunteer bakers to bake and donate sweet and savoury treats for its charity bake sales, held at the Royal Surrey in Guildford. All money raised from the bake sales supports our work transforming care in South West Surrey and beyond.

Upcoming bake sales

We usually hold five or six bake sales a year, and the dates for this year's events are:

Valentine's cake sale - Tuesday 14 February
Easter cake sale - Monday 3 April
NHS Big Tea cake sale - Monday 3 July
NHS birthday Bake Off and cake sale - Wednesday 5 July
Halloween-themed cake sale - Monday 30 October
Christmas-themed cake sale - Monday 11 December

Typical cakes/bakes needed include:

• Large cakes/small cakes/tray bakes/cupcakes
• Sausage rolls/pasties/cheese and meat slices/samosas

We'd also love to be able to sell a selection of dairy-free, vegan, gluten-free or nut-free bakes. We are unable to take cream-filled bakes as we can't refrigerate the cakes. 

What's involved?

We'll add you to our list of bakers and get in touch when we have an event coming up to see if you can help.

An email will be sent out a month before the event, and then a reminder a few days before the cake sale, with all of the information bakers need, before baking and delivering the baked goods.
